In San Francisco yesterday, a “well dressed” man walked into an art gallery and walked out with a Picasso. This 1965 pencil drawing is called “Tete de Femme,” or “Head of a Woman,” which is reported to be worth $200,000. The SF Chronicle reported that the police have a man in custody for the theft. 30 year old Mark Lugo of Hoboken, N.J. was arrested in a Napa hotel room not too long after his effort. The artwork was recovered, but the frame is still missing.
